THE FISCAL FEMINIST
I founded The Fiscal Feminist to raise the alarm that ALL women need to get proactive with their money and finances. It’s never too late! I changed my relationship with money when I was 54 – you are never too old or too young to get your financial act together. It’s never too early or too late but it is always urgent!
Money plays a big part in life, and we can’t survive without it.
My mission is to give women the tools and a roadmap to having a healthy relationship with money. We all have a personal responsibility to ourselves to be financially intentional so we can have control and peace of mind.
Whether we like it or not, the reality is that money plays a big part in life. Since we can’t survive without it, we should have a healthy relationship with it. A partner isn’t our financial plan and it is up to each of us to take personal responsibility to financially flourish.
For a long time, I did not have my priorities straight.
I wasn’t intentional with my money behavior and relationships, and drifted along to a close call with financial ruin.
I had a long and contentious divorce that totally upended my life and landed me with a mountain of debt, no plan, and a lot of uncertainty about mine and my children’s future. For years, I was stressed out, unable to sleep and paralyzed by fear because of my financial situation.
My journey brought me into wealth management and as I built my business, I decided to share my knowledge and experience with other women so they can avoid the mistakes that I made.
With decades of experience as a wealth manager, certified divorce financial analyst, and attorney, I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and motivating women to love themselves by being financially strategic.
